HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed digital audio/video data from a HDMI-compliant source device to a compatible digital audio/video display device. A HDMI cable is used to connect the source device to the display device. The common HDMI connector is of type A but some portable devices utilise a micro or type D connector.

This high speed HDMI cable is ideal for connecting equipment with different connectors. A Type D or Micro connector is often found in mobile devices such as Smart Phones, Tablet PC and cameras where only limited space is available on the board.
