The CPD-360DUALTECH is a user friendly, high-performance presence detector for lighting and HVAC applications.

• The device is built on a powerful combination of PIR and ultrasonic sensor technology to provide superior range and coverage with optimum flexibility.
• The product features one PIR sensor capable of detecting occupancy up to 8 metres in a 360-degree range, and two ultrasonic sensors that detect movement within a 10 by 16 metre distance area.
• Ultrasonic sensors emit a 32KHz ultrasonic sound wave.
• Operating on the Doppler effect, when a human body part moves even slightly it changes the tone of the sound.
• This sends a message to the presence detector, which picks up the change and switches the relay.
• Ultrasonic sensors are an effective method of detecting occupancy because they are able to detect even subtle movements, and are particularly sensitive to movement approaching the device.
• The air current compensation function, used when AC duct affects US triggering, is a bonus feature that can be enabled or disabled as required.
• The CPD-360DUALTECH has four detection modes to choose from, allowing you to tailor the device to your specific requirements:
• Mode 1. PIR/US - Load will switch on when either PIR or US are triggered
• Mode 2. PIR + US - Load will switch on when both PIR and US sensors are triggered, the load will stay on when either PIR or US are         triggered
• Mode 3. PIR only - Load will switch when PIR is triggered
• Mode 4. US only - Load will switch when US is triggered
• The unit is suitable for surface mount using the junction box provided. Typical applications include lighting for multi-stall bathrooms and partitioned offices, including glass partitioning.
