Overview

A concealed magnetic reed switch designed for use with metal door frames. Magnetic contact is widely used for alarm systems to detect the state of the door. It consists of a reed switch and a magnet. Normally open switching. When the door closes, the magnet interacts with the reed switch, turning it "ON". When the door opens, the magnet will interact with the reed switch again, turning it "OFF" and triggering the alarm.
