Cypress CM-398M CVBS/S-Video to VGA & Component Video Scaler Converter

Overview

Give your older video equipment a new lease on life with this easy-to-use Video to PC and HDTV Converter. Designed to convert Composite Video (CVBS) and S-Video signals from PAL or NTSC sources, it allows compatible DVD players, PVRs, retro gaming consoles and other analogue video devices to be viewed on VGA monitors or compatible HDTV displays.

The built-in video scaler converts standard-definition video to a range of PC and HD output resolutions, supporting up to UXGA 1600 x 1200 for PC displays and 1080p at 50/60Hz for HDTV applications.

Advanced 3D motion-adaptive de-interlacing and noise reduction help improve the appearance of analogue video, while automatic 2:2 and 3:2 film-mode detection and 50Hz/60Hz frame-rate conversion provide smooth, stable playback.

With a convenient On-Screen Display (OSD), changing the output resolution and settings is quick and simple. Best of all, the converter is plug and play, so there are no drivers or software to install.
