This HDMI over IP balun receiver decodes 1080p HDMI signals into a H.265 stream suitable for receiving over a single Cat5e/6 UTP cable. This can be used in a point-to-point system using the A3138 transmitter or in a system which transmits to multiple receivers utilising a wired ethernet switch. The maximum distance of cable for a 1080p @ 60Hz signal is 150 metres, with an additional 15m available from the HDMI input/output. One way infra-red control is available (from the transmitter end of the system) using the included IR emitter. This system is ideal for digital signage or commercial audio visual entertainment systems where a common signal is required to be transmitted to multiple monitors.
