4.3-10 Male to N Female adapters are used to connect older N-Type coaxial cables onto modern 4G and 5G antennas which use the more modern 4.3-10 RF interface. This adapter is a convenient way to provide backwards compatibility on newly installed antennas without having to replace existing coaxial cabling. The 4.3-10 Male interface can be identified by its large central pin, protruding inner ring, integrated weatherproof gasket, and the hex body has internal threading. N Female connectors have a central socket which is designed to receive the pin of an N Male connector. The external threading facilitates a secure connection by screwing onto the N Male's internal threading.
